Took part in a discussion panel on Marketing Automation on 15th May 2014 organised @brighttalk

“Most companies have now succeeded in implementing some degree of marketing automation – either email, social, or content management.
However, when dealing with multiple channels the complexity is multiplied and companies often find themselves loosing control over messages, content and their audience.”

We are working our way through that challenge now. Several years ago a product called “Postit” came out and it was all the rage because it enabled you to post to multiple channels (social networks) at once. I thought it was great for creating efficiencies in the workflow from a corporate social media management perspective, but you cannot simply spam the same message across networks. At Century 21 Real Estate, we have different audiences on Facebook, than we do on Twitter, on G+, YouTube and so on… It is critical to know your audience on each channel so you know how to optimize your messaging.
Great subject. Glad to see our friends in the U.K. taking thought leadership roles in the space!
